Terms & Conditions

Mascotix Studio is an online design tool that uses artificial intelligence to create brand mascots (with expressions and animations), suggest mascots from a website you give us, and design mobile app screens, clickable prototypes and code that feature your mascot.

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to use the Service.
• Give accurate details and keep your login safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• One person or business per account. Don't share, sell or transfer accounts, and don't create accounts to collect extra free credits.

• AI features use credits. Prices in credits are shown in the app before you use a feature. New accounts receive 20 free credits once. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged.
• Paid plans (Starter, Pro and Premium) are monthly subscriptions. Each successful monthly payment tops your credits back up to your plan's amount; unused credits don't roll over.
• Plans include different features and limits, for example 1 app design on Free, 5 on Starter and unlimited on Pro and Premium. The current details are on our pricing and billing pages.
• Payments are processed by our payment partner Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, taxes and invoices. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
• We may change prices or plan contents. Changes to a paid plan apply from your next billing period, and we will tell you in advance.

You can cancel anytime from Plans & billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and it won't renew after that. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. If an AI generation fails, the credits it used are returned to you automatically.

• Your input (descriptions, photos, website addresses and other content you give us) stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to run the Service for you.
• Your results: as between you and us, you own the mascots, images, animations, screens and code you create with the Service, and you may use them in your own products, apps and websites. Using results for client work or reselling them as a service (for example as an agency) requires the Premium plan, which includes a commercial license.
• AI can produce results that look similar to other people's results or to existing works. You are responsible for checking that what you use doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, especially before registering it as a trademark.
• The Mascotix Studio name, logo, our mascot Lizzy, the website and the software are ours. These terms don't give you any rights to them, except to use the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• create content that is illegal, sexual, hateful, harassing, violent, or that exploits or harms children;
• copy or imitate other companies' mascots, logos, trademarks or well-known characters, or other people's likeness without their permission;
• submit websites or content you don't have the right to use;
• mislead people, for example by making fake brands, reviews or official-looking material;
• attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or get around the limits and security of the Service, or resell access to it.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refunding credits used for that content.

When you create a share link for a prototype, anyone with the link can view it without logging in. You can turn a link off at any time. Don't share links to content you don't want others to see.

We use trusted providers to run the Service, including for hosting, data storage, payments and AI generation (described in our Privacy Policy). If one of them has an outage or changes its service, parts of Mascotix Studio may be slower or unavailable for a while; we're not responsible for their services. Payments are also subject to Dodo Payments' own terms.

AI results can be unexpected or imperfect, and the same request can give different results. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running but don't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove features over time. Keep your own copies of anything important.

To the extent the law allows, Mascotix Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to hello@mascotixstudio.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we have to by law. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership and liability) survive the end of the agreement.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
